Data gets deleted from the local storage as the application is killed

hi all,

My application is using the concept of local storage but the when it is killed all the stored data is flushed from the local storage .

Am i doing something wrong or any settings need to be done on  the device or any specific setting to be done during the time of build.

Any help would be highly appreciated
